JOB STATUS : Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) , 12Months Per Year
LOCATION : Granite Falls, Mn
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Identify recruiting opportunities by researching new sources of talent, cultivating relationships with industry professionals and be proficient in networking.
- Be a part of the External Relations Team
- Represent a positive image of Project Turnabout at all times.
- Must have the ability to organize, articulate, and facilitate the responsibilities of outreach activities.
- Collaborate with other members of External Relations Team to carry out key initiatives in the areas of Development, Outreach, and Marketing for Project Turnabout.
- Must be capable of multitasking and addressing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be comfortable in communicating/presenting to the public or funding source, in written and verbal form, our mission, purpose, social benefits of all projects.
- Maintain accurate and current databases and mailing lists for all programs, referents, and business associates.
- Participates in planning of program brochures, marketing, and outreach materials.
- Support the Marketing Manager with organized data that provides information for implementation of our strategic plan and outreach activities.
- Support HR Manager with employee records management, recruitment, onboarding new hires, benefits administration, data entry and reporting, answering general HR inquiries.
- Gathers information on prospects, identify communicate with team donors and volunteers.
- Facilitate Alumni and Families Speaker Bureau; collect and organize stories/testimonials; Contribute to newsletter, radio, and other communications with alumni focus.
- Network with addiction/recovery organizations, events, and venues
- Develop and maintain up-to-date alumni and family contact data base, integrating information from current data bases.
- Other duties assigned by Marketing Manager.
- Other duties assigned by HR Manager.
- Represent Project Turnabout at public events, such as community outreach programs.
ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Have a basic knowledge of chemical dependency.
- Be comfortable and have knowledge of other office programs on the computer.
- Attend all mandatory in-services and training as required by state and federal laws as well as for the organization and for personal gain.
- Be proficient in Adobe design programs as well as database programs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Possess basic understanding of HR principles and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate experience.
- Must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must be free from chemical/gambling use problems for at least two (2) years.
