Cleared Senior Software Engineer - JAVA, Oracle

Job Description

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in web-based application development and database management.

Place of Performance: 100% remote/telework.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expertise in Java, Oracle databases, and web-based system development.
• Experience working with UNIX and Windows-based web servers.
• Understanding of time and attendance systems, payroll processing, and workforce management applications.
• Familiarity with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) policies.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
  
  

Duties:

• Provide software engineering support for the DISA Automated Time Attendance and Production System (DATAAPS).
• Develop, test, and deploy enhancements to the DATAAPS application.
• Maintain system security compliance with DoD standards.
• Support system integration with external applications, including the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS).
• Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring continued system functionality.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including software configurations and user guides.
• Assist with data migration and conversion efforts as needed.
