Note: This is a Seasonal position; must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays. Seasonal EMT position ends on or before 11/30/2025.

What you get to do:
- Provide emergency medical and first aid care to guests and employees following national and state standards.
- Assesses injuries or illness, administers appropriate treatment and complete paperwork
- Perform daily checks on safety and rescue equipment.
- Report safety hazards in the park to necessary personnel.
- Participate in department training and drills.
- Respond to medical emergencies throughout the park.
- Enthusiastically represent the company by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- Able to respond to patient needs and make sound decisions.
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess and maintain a current Florida EMT-B or higher Florida certification.
- Strong comprehensive and communication skills.
- Able to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing as well as use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
- Able to stand, walk, and work for long periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
- Able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations.
- Willing to comply with grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
- Able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment with or without accommodation.
- Able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e. sunny, wet, and/or humid conditions)
Compensation:
$16.00 USD per hour
