About the Role: As our Payroll Clerk, you'll combine your aptitude for numbers with problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses. Your work will be critical to ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, reinforcing the value of seamless payroll management.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 1 years of payroll processing experience
- Solid understanding of the entire payroll process and related rules and regulations
- The ability to act as a liaison for escalated payroll inquiries, providing excellent customer service
- Self-motivation with strong problem-solving abilities
- A commitment to confidentiality, detail-orientation, and excellent time management
- Strong listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other payroll systems, ideally within a Windows environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately collect, process, audit, and control payroll data across multiple systems
- Provide ongoing payroll support to employees and management through verbal and email communication
- Process payroll for various pay groups on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
- Batch and enter data into Paycor systems for non-exempt and exempt employees
- Investigate and resolve potential interface errors across systems
- Run audit reports to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Document and update payroll processes for continuity and efficiency
- Process off-cycle payments as needed
- Respond to payroll inquiries with professionalism and a focus on resolution
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with additional tasks as needed
