Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties and play a crucial role in sales and marketing efforts to attract new clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a solid understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and vendors. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of properties while providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Assist in managing property rental processes, including tenant screening and lease agreements, etc.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and maintaining tenant files.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns with professionalism and effective phone etiquette.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Support conflict management efforts by addressing tenant disputes and facilitating resolutions.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and tenants.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, including online listings, brochures, and social media content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, and vendors.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign performance to optimize strategies and achieve targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, sales, and marketing is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and record management.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes and maintenance operations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with tenants and vendors.
- Ability to manage conflicts professionally and diplomatically.
- Knowledge of laws related to property management is a plus.
- Experience using various software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and growing the client base.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No overtime
- On call
- Weekends as needed
