What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Property Management & Development Corp?
The experienced Resident Manager will effectively manage the day to day operations for our 134 unit apartment community. The qualified candidate will also manage/oversee the rent collection and posting process, prepare/assess final move out inspection statements, motivate leasing staff to market available units and assist them to close lease rentals, resident retention, coordinate with the leasing and maintenance staff that would include supervision and scheduling based on company requirements.
Responsibilities will also include
· Consistently maintaining high occupancy;
· Following up within a timely manner - pending items via email, phone or paper correspondence;
· Managing the properties Rent Roll;
· Preparing/overseeing Lease Agreements – collaborate with leasing staff and senior management;
· Preparing/overseeing Lease Renewals - collaborate with leasing staff and senior management;
· Review and approve rental applications;
· Inspect apartment units – ready move in’s;
· Inspect apartment units that have been vacated with maintenance staff/lead;
· Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports (Rent Control Report, Weekly Reports etc.);
· Preparing/overseeing 3 Day notices;
· Supervising leasing office and maintenance staff;
· Develop a motivated team through effective management style/skill;
· Conduct market surveys;
· Assist leasing activities and resident relations;
· Comply with company standards, versed with applicable laws; Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant;
· Resident interaction
Experience
· Multifamily housing, minimum 3 years -required;
· Property or Resident Manager experience – required;
· Yardi property management software – strongly preferred;
· Comply with Nevada State and Landlord-Tenant Laws- required;
· Knowledge of Fair Housing Practices – required;
Qualifications
· High School Diploma/GED equivalent;
· Authorization to work in the US;

Salary will be based on experience. Full time - Exempt. At Will.
