Propulsion Controls Engineering has a current opening at our San Diego, California location for an experienced Ship Repair Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years of military/marine or ship repair industry experience. PCE is a full service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.
Project Manager Position Summary:
Oversee and lead a team in completing projects by a set deadline, schedule and budget. Monitor project progress, resolve challenges and communicate obstacles.
Position Requirments:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 5 plus years’ experience (military/marine or ship repair industry preferred).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task with multiple projects.
- Ability and tolerance to meet due dates and deadlines and/or time constraints.
- Ability to delegate and lead others.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control and costs.
