The Director role oversees all aspects of our ultra-premium winery's exclusive membership program, ensuring exceptional service for discerning clientele while driving sales, retention, and brand loyalty. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase wine club membership, retention rates, and overall member satisfaction
- Oversee wine club allocations, shipments, and special offerings
- Create exclusive member experiences, tastings, and events that showcase our portfolio
- Manage a team of wine club associates to ensure attentive, knowledgeable service
- Analyze sales data and membership trends to optimize club structure and offerings
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted communications and promotions
- Maintain detailed member profiles and preferences in CRM system
- Provide personalized service to VIP members, including customized wine recommendations
- Ensure compliance with direct shipping regulations across multiple states
- Represent the winery at industry events and exclusive tastings
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in luxury wine sales, hospitality, or membership management
- Advanced wine knowledge and/or certifications
- Proven track record of growing membership programs and enhancing member value
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze financial performance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
