The Knowledge Management Intern ("Intern") will join the Knowledge Management Team. Working with the Knowledge Management (KM) and Innovation Officer and the KM Supervisor of Technology, the Intern will provide administrative assistance to the KM team, working on systems and strategies within the Firm's transactional departments (the "Groups").
Responsibilities
- Assist with curation and management of practice area knowledge portals (SharePoint) to ensure they provide an up-to-date repository of group knowledge and resources.
- Assist with user management and usage audits of practice specific technology, such as DocuSign, Kira, Jigsaw, Legatics, and HighQ.
- Assist with special projects related to Generative AI and emerging legal technologies.
- Update legal research and deal data databases.
- Update Knowledge Management's PowerPoint decks to reflect the latest developments in the department's strategy and resources.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Knowledge and Innovation Officer and KM Supervisor of Technology to facilitate the sharing of best practices and knowledge.
Qualifications
This internship will run from June 2, 2025, through July 25, 2025.
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $17.50 per hour. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and / or from which they will be performing the job.
