General Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join Protec. This individual will oversee the Sales department by monitoring sales individuals and their performance. Also, he or she will help implement policies and track changes within our customer base as well as the industry. Will work tandem with other department heads to address company inefficiencies and work toward a solution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals (Revenue/EBITDA Growth)
· Lead, monitor and train the sales team to meet goals, order count, and limit mistakes
· Manage key customer relationships
· Will work with the Accounting Manager on approving and tracking Credits
· Analyze sales data to understand revenue changes by region within our customer base
· Collaborate with other department heads
· Help evaluate equipment needs
· Travel to interface with Customers directly on a need basis to gain business or address problems they are experiencing with Protec
· Help assist with NETA
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales leadership as well as managing others (team)
· Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance
· Skilled in analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities
· Solid understanding of business development and industry standards
· Passion for mentoring and assisting customers
· Basic knowledge of electrical test equipment
· Efficiently work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with others
· Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
· Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Exchange
