Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating all delivery orders, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling, and maintaining top-notch communication with sales reps and customers. This role will be pivotal in upholding our industry-leading service standards and paying close attention to ProTec Core Values.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Order Management
- Track and journey all orders in BisTrack within a 3-day window, ensuring each title includes a description.
- Accurately load drive times to ensure driver precision.
- Complete truck, trailer, and driver information accurately.
Scheduling
- Monitor and manage the Dispatch email and Teams chat.
- Respond to all Teams messages within 15 minutes.
- Respond to all emails within 24 hours.
Delivery Management
- Ensure all delivery requests meet expectations and are 100% on time and complete.
- Proactively communicate with sales representatives and customers to uphold industry-best service.
Compliance Standards
- Ensure truck and trailer DOT standards are met.
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant documentation for all vehicles.
General Administrative Support
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the overall functionality of the operations department.
- Work in developing and implementing improvements in current processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Back-up or assist in Delivery Scheduling when required
- Assist in other areas as needed

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in Logistics a plus
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., phone systems, computers, scanners, etc.).
- Adaptability, Familiarity with safety standards, and experience in Logistics or manufacturing.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with standard working hours; may require occasional overtime or flexible hours based on organizational needs. This is a fast-paced office atmosphere, tasks and requests can come in rapidly, demanding quick responses and efficient multitasking.
- Constant movement may be required, frequently moving between different areas of the office and production facility.
- Demands may include agility, efficiency, and resilience. Employee should be adept at managing a dynamic workload, collaborating effectively, and maintaining high energy levels while using advanced technology and handling frequent interactions with customers and colleagues.
