Where We Need You
We are looking for a Finance Facilitator to join our team in Houston. Protiviti works in a hybrid environment and this role requires that you work in-person in our office several times per week.
What You Can Expect
As a Finance Facilitator, you are responsible for executing various assignments within the Finance process. You will handle multiple tasks ranging from auditing and processing time and expense entries to generating ad hoc reports for managing budgets to ensure accurate revenue recognition. You will develop an understanding of key business processes and protocols while having the ability to communicate with all levels of local practice and operations employees.
What You Will Be Doing
Client Accounting
- Assist engagement managers with recording project economic estimates using internal budgeting tool.
- Facilitate engagement documentation through workflow submission on behalf of engagement teams.
- Prepare and analyze summaries of engagement economics.
- Proactively follow up with individuals to ensure budgets are updated to reflect changes in project execution and contractual agreement to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Support engagement managers by arranging and processing client invoices.
- Schedule and manage regular touchpoints with engagement managers to ensure project finance tasks are completed.
- Monitor financial discipline KPIs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Field engagement manager inquiries in a timely and organized manner.
- Help project teams clear deferred revenue, close projects and complete reallocations and adjustments.
- Assist management team with accounting related to use of contractors.
- Monitor time and expense in suspense and assist in clearing these items.
- Assist in delivering training of client acceptance and administration.
Reporting / Data Tracking Responsibilities
- Gather and summarize data for reporting.
- Generate and distribute ad hoc reports as requested.
- Assist in preparation of presentations for leadership meetings.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Management).
- 1-2 years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
