Overview
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Director in the management of student clubs and organizations, including facilitating trainings for student leaders and advisors, provide guidance for clubs and organization development, on-site support for large programs hosted by clubs and organizations, and serve as an administrator for PC Central-our club, and organization management software. Process event proposals submitted by clubs and organizations. (25%)
- Ensure the successful facilitation of late-night and weekend student programming. This includes planning engaging programs, facilitating and promoting events, and scheduling event staff coverage for events. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student event staff to support programming. Coordinate on-going assessment and track national trends to identify best practices for student programming. (25%)
- Facilitate educational programming designed to encourage inclusion, equity, and student engagement in support of the college’s commitment to a Beloved Community. Represent SEAL on Divisional and campus-wide committees that support these programs. (20%)
- Under the direction of the Associate Director, coordinate programming in McPhail’s – our multi-purpose entertainment space and pub. This includes but is not limited to planning night and weekend events, booking entertainment, coordinating weekly Friyay promotions, and hosting game watches. Supervise on Graduate Assistant focused on supporting McPhail’s programming. (20%)
- Support essential functions of the office as assigned including but not limited to new student orientation, spring concert, senior week, leadership development programs, and senior ring weekend. Complete administrative responsibilities as assigned to support office functions, including but not limited to contract review, financial paperwork, vendor relations, office coverage, and marketing. (10%)

Education and Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required. Master’s degree in higher education/student affairs preferred.
- One to three years of professional experience in student affairs with significant programming experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience planning and implementing large-scale programming.
- Experience advising student organizations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
