ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identify, develop, secure, and grow new and existing account and customer opportunities by building a strong network within the service area.
a. Assist the Clinical Liaison and Admissions Team in census development by marketing to local hospitals, medical clinics and referral sources, i.e., hospitals and LTCHs in Indianapolis.
b. Utilize market analysis data in individual territory to identify new business and potential opportunities.
c. Identify and analyze competitor facilities and services to determine competitive advantages and improvement needs.
i. Increase the likelihood of referrals by differentiating PHC from the competition and highlighting services that can be provided to patients.
d. Develop partnerships and referral programs in the area.
e. Promote and develop through marketing Lourdes assisted living.
2. Provide in-services and professional presentations for referral sources, community groups, and other organizations regarding PHC services, programs, and outcomes.
a. Serve as an educational resource for hospitals and healthcare professionals.
b. Assist with patient assessment when necessary.
c. Recognize barriers to admission, respond appropriately
3. Consistently demonstrate high standards of professionalism through appearance, conduct, and compliance with policies/procedures and legal requirements.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS
Critical thinking/problem solving/decision-making abilities; verbal and written communications skills; strong interpersonal relationship skills; must understand nursing home Medicare and Medicaid operations, legal guidelines, competitive analysis, and marketplace trends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree in business with an emphasis on marketing and business development, health care administration or a non –related field with marketing experience in healthcare.
