Providence Health Plan is calling a Medicaid Program Manager who will:

  • Develop, implementand maintain the Providence Health Assurance Medicaid program
  • Support strategic planning activities for growth, expansion and new products
  • Manage and monitor activities across multiple departments in service to the Medicaid performance objectives, including but not limited to, membership and growth, financial indicators, medical management, customer service, access and regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Serve in a liaison role with the Oregon Health Authority, Health Share, peers in Providence St. Joseph Health and other organizations and is responsible for day-to-day Medicaid program activities

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the State of Oregon and the city of Vancouver, Washington.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Administration, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education & a minimum of 3 years experience working in a healthcare environment
  • 3 years' experience in a leadership role within a health plan or comparable health care entity (Leadership experience may be inclusive of: leading cross-functional teams and or projects with the following elements - development, leading, follow-up / follow-through, and execution)
