About the Role
The Registered Nurse Home Health provides direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Professional development is an integral part of this nursing practice.
This position coordinates patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
- Coordinate care activities with other healthcare team members.
- Follow the nursing process to meet individualized patient needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 1 year Medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
- 2 years Experience in acute care or community mental health setting for Mental Health RN work assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
We also prefer candidates with:
- Recent Home Health experience.
- Hospice or Palliative Care experience for Palliative Care RN work assignment.
- Point of Care experience.
