Painter - Plant Maintenance at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

Paints and redecorates walls, ceilings, woodwork, furniture and fixtures by scraping, brushing off old paint, filling holes and interstices with putty or other filler; sanding, mixing color and paint ingredients to obtain proper color and consistency; applying with brush, roller and spray gun. Assembles scaffolding, applies and repairs wallcovering, paints, installs and maintains signs, repairs murals, repairs plaster and cement, hangs and removes equipment from walls. Responsible for all work as assigned. Hand tools for painting and minor carpentry as assigned, required. Employer will provide all power tools and replacement of hand tools worn out or damaged on the job.

Shift Details: Full-time, Day shift, 40 hours a week (Mondays - Fridays)

Required Qualifications:

• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 4 years Apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training as a professional painter or sign maker.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer experience with Meditech and Outlook.
