Overview :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Director of Operations to oversee the daily management and strategic development of our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health Outpatient Facility. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of all programs and services while maintaining compliance, fiscal responsibility, and excellence in client care. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration, preferably in SUD and mental health settings, with strong organizational, leadership, and operational management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Operations Management and Leadership :
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day facility operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care.
Collaborate with staff to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments.
Program Development and Oversight :
Ensure programs are evidence-based, culturally competent, and meet the needs of the populations served.
Monitor program outcomes and collaborate with staff to make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
Support initiatives that improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
Financial Oversight :
Work with leadership to manage the facility's budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for cost savings, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
Support revenue generation efforts while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Compliance and Quality Assurance :
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DDAP and OMHSAS standards.
Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.
Implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality care.
Staff Management :
Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.
Provide mentorship and support professional development opportunities for team members.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and retention.
Community Engagement and Collaboration :
Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, referral sources, and partner organizations.
Represent the facility in community forums, events, and collaborative initiatives.
Identify and pursue opportunities for partnerships that enhance service delivery.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3–5 years of healthcare administration or operations management experience, preferably in substance use disorder or mental health treatment settings.
Strong knowledge of substance use disorder and mental health treatment principles and evidence-based practices.
Proven ability to manage budgets, oversee operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Effective leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
The Director of Operations shall meet the following qualifications :
Master’s Degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., chemical dependency, psychology, business management) with relevant experience in operations, supervision, and program development.
Strong familiarity with regulatory standards (DDAP and OMHSAS preferred).
Experience with supervision, program implementation, and quality assurance.
