Outpatient Counselor - Part Time

Location: High Focus Centers – Northeast Philadelphia, PA

High Focus Centers, a trusted provider of outpatient treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania, offers comprehensive, individualized care through its programs: Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. Serving adults and adolescents, we specialize in addressing substance use, mental health, and eating disorders.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Outpatient Counselor to join our Lansdale team. If you are passionate about helping individuals achieve recovery and meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.

Position Overview

The Outpatient Counselor is responsible for:

  • Facilitating outpatient sessions and assessments in accordance with program standards.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining regular communication with referral sources and company representatives.
  • Evaluating the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and their families.
  • Attending meetings to review and discuss clients' progress.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support client care and program success.

  • Understanding addiction, mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
  • Applying clinical skills to practice, including assessment and treatment planning.
  • Facilitating individual counseling sessions.

  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Adhering to professional and ethical standards.
  • Supporting diverse populations with compassion and competency.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in a Human Services-related field is required.
