Job Summary

The Business Support Specialist will work on completing Voice of Customer reports and analysis. This position will be involved in a variety of structured and supervised assignments, augmented by appropriate training. Assignments meet business needs and provide the incumbent with a foundational knowledge of how the PSE&G Customer Care team utilizes market research and other operational data to identify areas to improve customer satisfaction scores.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on analytical reports that are prepared by performing tasks such as data extraction to organize data into charts and dashboards to analyze results towards achievement of scorecard targets.
• Work on preparing presentations to communicate results to internal stakeholders
• Other analytical projects may include working on continuous improvement projects, technical / financial review and analysis and other ad-hoc market research assignments.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field plus 3 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, 7 years of job-related experience
• Proficient in Access, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with Data Management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical aptitude
• Demonstrated individual and team leadership skills
• Effective problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Desired:

• Knowledge of how market research is conducted
• Working knowledge of Tableau and Power BI such that has experience connecting data sources and developing
• dashboards
• Working knowledge of advanced statistical applications
• Experience with Alteryx
• Knowledge of Survey Monkey
• Consulting or large company experience, especially energy industries
