Job Description

We're looking for a Bilingual Maintenance Supervisor-HVAC, working in Real Estate industry in 5309 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, Maryland, 20737, United States. This position is responsible for supervising and leading the maintenance team to ensure timely, efficient completion of tasks. You will also be managing service requests, prioritizing work, and developing daily schedules for maintenance staff. Additionally, you will be maintaining accurate records of service requests and work completed, developing vendor contracts, obtaining competitive bids, and managing 3rd party service providers.

You will oversee preventative maintenance programs and ensure all maintenance schedules are met. You will also perform regular property inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become problems. Furthermore, you will assist in move-in and move-out procedures for residents, handle emergency repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliance maintenance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of relevant experience in property maintenance or related field
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and appliance repair
• Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate a maintenance team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in computer-based applications for record-keeping and communication
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify maintenance issues and provide solutions
• Availability to respond to emergency calls after hours and participate in the on-call rotation
