What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Sales position at PT Solutions?
The Director of Sales (Chicago area) helps to lead a regional sales team by developing and implementing sales plans to increase the number of new patients referred to the practice, thereby driving increased revenue. The Director of Sales is directly responsible for the management and growth of their team members and their associated markets. This is accomplished be ensuring accountability of KPI’s, internal coordination of efforts and resources, and maximizing the exposure and visibility of our practice within the healthcare profession and the communities we serve.
Essential Functions :
- Design and implement strategic sales plans to hit established targets
- Cultivate effective relationships with operational leadership to ensure alignment and collaboration
- Hold regular calls with team to provide professional development, establishment of best practices, and accountability
- Strategize and construct action plans for underperforming clinics with physician liaisons to improve trends and performance
- Provide weekly scorecard to VP of Sales & Marketing and ops leadership including team KPI’s and targeted action plans
- Meet regularly with direct reports to discuss progress towards goals, initiatives, expectations and professional development
- Field shadowing of team members to ensure effective sales tactics and behaviors
- Participate in the planning and execution of regular National Sales Summits
- Responsible for the hiring, interviewing, onboarding and training of physician liaisons based on the needs of the region
- Develop sales training content for other departments including Sports Medicine, Operations and Admin
- Observe local and national trends in their markets
