As a software company focusing on CAD, PLM, ALM, and SLM technology, PTC needs to demonstrate how PTC software products and partner technologies come together to solve real business problems for its customers, enabling digital transformation that results in double-digit business benefits. The mission of the Experience Lab team is to design, build, deliver, and scale physical and digital demonstrators representative of various customer scenarios and industries. These demonstrators, such as the one featured in this video, are used worldwide across PTC Customer Experience Centers and by PTC Partners to help show PTC's technology in action and help accelerate sales cycles.
As part of the Global Experience Center team, you will develop the physical & digital components for end-to-end software demonstrators around PTC's software solutions. As a Solutions Engineer, your job will consist of collaborating with other departments within PTC (Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales Engineers) and members of our cross-functional team to bring compelling demonstrators to life.
Day-To-Day:
- Use PTC software solutions to design PTC demonstrators: Creo, Onshape, Windchill, Codebeamer, ThingWorx and Kepware.
- Create end-to-end software demonstrations with physical and hardware components
- Integrate hardware with PTC Software
- Design components for demonstrators and manufacture using Experience Lab Equipment
- Administrate and maintain software and hardware installations in Customer Experience Centers
- Work with PTC customers and partners to extend and scale demonstrations
- Write presenter scripts for software demonstrations
- Design and Model new installations and Experience Centers in PTC Offices
- Create technical documentation
- Present technical software demonstrations in front of internal and external audiences
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- CAD (PTC Creo, PTC OnShape)
- Advanced experience in additive manufacturing
- Hardware integration
- Project Management
- basic computer networking
- Being Multilingual is a plus as the team interfaces with offices and partners globally.
- presentation and public speaking
- Able to work in a team and with other cross-functional members of the organization
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with CAD and/or PLM
- Experience with Technical Demonstration and Content Creation.
- Experience with 3D Printing, PLCs and microcontrollers
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
