What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Manager (Onsite, Free Housing) position at PTLA Real Estate Group?
PTLA Real Estate Group is looking for a Community Manager to take over two apartment communities (total 89 units) in its portfolio! This position is responsible for effectively managing and coordinating activities and available resources to maximize the successful operation of the property, with a heavy emphasis on leasing and resident service. This position works closely with property owners and upper management to meet property objectives and operating performance.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
- Properties are a few miles apart so reliable transportation is required
- Must live onsite at designated property
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages core business processes, including leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, vendor relations, etc
- Works closely with the Portfolio Manager to achieve optimum new lease and renewal pricing
- Develops strategies and executes action plans to align property goals with company goals
- Exhibits role model behavior in customer service and professionalism
- Oversees community administrative and reporting functions; partners with Accounting Department to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintains property cleanliness and curb appeal
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing and Employment laws. Ensures the same level of compliance from all team members.
- Completes additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of property management and leasing experience
- Experience with Entrata property management system a plus
- Customer service experience
