About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our team at PULAU Corporation. In this role, you will support the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Irwin, California.
- Repair, maintain, and alter HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors, and wiring systems as needed.
- Conduct performance calibrations, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all types of power systems related to HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for calibrating and troubleshooting electronic control systems, and performing OSHA-based lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all HVAC-related electronics.
- Repair air compressors, pumps, and controls, including troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding of equipment following manufacturers' recommendations and manuals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC systems, and be familiar with researching HVAC repair parts and identifying and ordering parts for mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Must possess a valid CA driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain post access and driving privileges.
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and may have to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
