What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Puller Veterans Care Center?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist and perform indoor / outdoor maintenance, electrical work, grounds keeping, and equipment repairs.
Obtain a working knowledge of all building systems and operations
Make routine installations including but not limited to traverse and curtain rods, bulletin boards, light bulbs, starters, electric cord ends, faucet valve seals and window shades
Clean, service, lubricate, and repair minor malfunctions in plumbing, electrical systems as well as facility components and equipment, ice-making machines, water fountains
Clean air-handling rooms and other shop areas and perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment
Perform all electrical as needed/required for the facility
Maintain PVCC Property such as tools, equipment, grounds, and work areas in clean, safe and orderly condition
Other duties as may be assigned that are within the Maintenance department’s mission and as situations warrant in meeting the overall needs of the facility. Essential Personnel.
May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Serves in an on-call rotation for the Maintenance department.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
