What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio and Events Manager position at Puppies & Yoga?
Join our vibrant and innovative Puppies & Yoga studios as our Experience Manager! We're looking for a dynamic individual to ensure that every class runs smoothly and that every participant leaves with a smile.
You will also be in charge of the management of the studio during the week .
About the Role:
1) Studio Manager
This part-time hybrid role requires a dedicated individual who can work both weekdays and weekends, and has a knack for multitasking, organization, and time management.
The position involves approximately 6 hours of organizational remote work during the week and about 27 hours in person over the weekend. (Friday- Sunday) As the Experience Manager, you will be the heart and soul of our studio, ensuring that every class is a magical experience for our clients.
2) Event Manager
Our studio is for rent during the week. As studio and event manager, you will be in charge of coordinating with clients renting our space for pop up events. Letting people in, coordinating the cleaning team, and making sure all the needs of short term rentals are met.
The compensation of this role is flexible - depending on your attendance during the week and weekend, and can go up to 3500$ per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Experience: Ensure the seamless execution of each class and address any issues that arise, making sure all participants have an exceptional experience.
- Coordinate Staff Calendars: Manage the schedules of all staff members, including yoga teachers, breeders, and cleaning staff.
- Inventory Management: Oversee supplies for the studio, such as yoga mats, toys, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous items.
- Logistics: Receive and organize packages, ensuring everything is in place for the classes each week.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the founders to develop and implement strategies for growth and improvement.
- Team Building: Hire, train, and lead a dedicated staff team to support the studio’s operations.
- Studio Vibe and Decoration: Create and continuously improve the vibe and decoration in the studio to enhance the overall experience.
- Studio management: opening to clients during the week, general management of the space.
What We’re Looking For:
- Customer Service Skills: A great sense of service, as you will be the face of our studio, interacting with clients regularly.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends.
- Flexible weekdays availability: Our studio being rented out during the week days, we need someone with flexibility during the week to coordinate with our renters.
- Hygiene Sensitivity: Ensure the studio is always clean, hygienic, and smells pleasant.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem Solving: Proactive and quick to address and resolve any issues that arise.
- Transportation: Having a car is a plus for ease of commuting and managing errands.
