Essential Functions
Assist Assistant Directors with material preparation for programs, as applicable :
o Foundations of Advancement Application Sessions
o Develop U Roundtables
o Develop U Orientation
o New Crew Sessions
o Super Crew Sessions
o Strengths (or other team building) Sessions
o Q12 Employee Engagement Sessions
Lead the creation and distribution of the monthly Develop U Newsletter
Assist with other communications such as MS Teams posts and announcements
Assist in monitoring the Develop U inbox and respond to inquiries as appropriate
Organize swag, books, and office supplies
Assist with Learning Management System content maintenance and formation
Ensure that Talent Development cart is fully stocked with hospitality items and materials for upcoming programs
Assist with the facilitation of Fundraising Roundtable session(s) to grow written and / or oral communication skills
Observe Strengths (or other team building) session(s) to learn more about CliftonStrengths and the application to employee and team development
Additional Opportunities
Observe Q12 Employee Engagement sessions to better understand employee engagement and its importance in fostering our organizational culture
Co-lead Develop U programs to grow facilitation and public speaking skills
Lead Strengths team session and conversations to grow Strengths-based culture at Purdue for Life Foundation
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and / or independently to meet deadlines
Effective at setting priorities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Eager to work in a highly motivated and collaborative environment
Interest in training and development
Requirements
High School Diploma / GED Equivalent required.
Candidates who are pursuing an undergraduate degree or have an interest in training and development are preferred.
Ideal candidate would have availability to work a light schedule for the remainder of the school year to train with our current team. This would enable the candidate to hit the ground running in August.
