What will you do?
You’ll play a key role in maximizing production efficiency and ensuring top-notch customer service. You'll be the one delivering materials to work cells and moving finished goods to distribution, all while maintaining inventory accuracy and helping our operations run seamlessly
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transport materials from the Supermarket to work cells on a standard route. Pick up Kanban tags and replenish materials to the point of use.
- Show your passion for customer service by ensuring operators and production lines have just the right materials when they need them.
- Pick up finished goods from production lines and transport them to the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement and proper documentation.
- Perform necessary goods movement transactions and fix any errors along the way.
- Unload incoming trucks, handle all SAP functions, and manage UPS/FedEx deliveries with ease.
- Execute and maintain cycle counting of raw materials and WIP as specified by SAP roles.
- Verify the accuracy of packing slips, invoices, and other records to purchase orders, working with buyers on any discrepancies.
- Keep all records, files, and documentation organized and up to date.
- Assist the Subcontract Assembly-Receiving Supervisor with special tasks as needed.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and Kanban processes through aisle maintenance.
- Maintain material organization by combining products and updating storage locations as necessary.
- Operate and inspect material handling equipment like hand trucks and forklifts.
- Ensure compliance with SOP/S-Ox policies related to inventory and material movement.
- Be responsible for sending out recycling boxes to customers and managing mailroom sorting.
- Practice 5S principles to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts to drive enhancements in safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in material handling and inventory control is preferred.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks is a plus.
- A background in Lean manufacturing is preferred.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Basic math skills—ability to perform calculations related to weight measurements.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods. Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving skills—handle instructions and tackle challenges with ease.
