Job Opportunity: Outside Sales/Key Account Representative
Company: Pure Process Filtration
Location: Southern California Field-based (with frequent face to face customer visits). Quarterly travel required to manufacture’s facilities for training events.
Pure Process Filtration is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales/Key Account Representative to join our growing team! As an essential part of our business development efforts, you will focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering partnerships with key suppliers and clients in the filtration industry. Salary Range: Salary plus commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with key suppliers and business collaborators.
- Assist the sales department in developing new and repeat business opportunities through client support activities.
- Proactively identify and qualify leads by understanding customer’s needs to expand the company’s client base.
- Seek out new customer opportunities and schedule introductory meetings to showcase the benefits of filtration solutions.
- Provide quotes and recommendations to customers by assessing their needs and offering tailored product solutions.
- Serve as support to the engineering and sales management experts on filtration equipment, offering in-depth information and support to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, customer service, and timely fulfillment.
- Represent Pure Process Filtration at industry trainings, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen the brand.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate technical product information effectively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
