The Crew Leader is to lead and oversee a crew in field operations of our Landscape Construction Division. The position will ensure that our company's high professional and production standards and contract requirements are met while providing excellent customer service and fostering employee development.
Job Summary:
As a Crew Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day performance and production of 1 installation crew. Overseeing the crew's day-to-day performance and production requires handling materials, equipment, labor, and the ability to forecast scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding of what is being performed by the crew and where.
- Ensure irrigation, plants, and trees are installed properly per design.
- Help ensure the crew has the proper machine and attachments.
- Ensure quality of install
- Help maintain truck/equipment servicing schedule.
- Communicate with customers on-site as necessary.
- Assist in training other team members as needed.
- Forecast at least 48 hours ahead for any needed additional irrigation material (Construction Manager will coordinate 1st delivery of all materials)
- Forecast at least one week ahead for any needed additional plant material, trees, or sod. (Construction Manager will coordinate 1st delivery of all materials)
