Manufacturing Technician Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: Technicians are machine technicians, product specialists, troubleshooters, and quality assurance all rolled into one. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervise/train/coach while working on the factory floor to ensure the team executes proper set up of the swab production machines. Ensures machines are working at full capacity and are stocked with the necessary materials and are well maintained. Diagnose machine problems and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime and mentor and work with machine operators to run machines at optimal levels.   This position is based on shift work, nights, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Follow ISO 13485 (Manufacture of Medical Devices) standard operating procedures
• Supervise/Train/Coach to set-up, maintain, and repair factory machinery 
• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of production machines
• Complete all required manufacturing paperwork on time
• Carry out scheduled routine maintenance
• Ensure that finished products are high quality and meet customer requirements
• Ensure the correct material is fed into the production machines per BOM
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical set up and functional issues with: Chains, Belts, Electronic sensors, robotic machines, electric motors and components
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Able to read machine blueprints and schematics 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 5 years’ of related experience in a similar role
• Supervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift 50 lbs. and regularly lift up to 30lbs, handle tasks involving frequent bending, twisting, lifting, squatting, walking, and standing
• Manual dexterity
• Must be able and willing to work in a fast pace environment

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• This position requires frequent data entry, which involves repetitive hand movements on a keyboard
