About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist - Lathe to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precision parts and components using CNC lathes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. The CNC Machinist will play a key role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining processes.
- Utilize tooling and fixtures effectively to ensure precision in production.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Conduct quality inspections using bore gauges, comparators, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design improvements and modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with lathes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes.
- Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances.
- Ability to work with hand tools effectively for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with advanced CNC programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience. Expected weekly hours: 40-50. We offer a competitive benefit package, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.

Must be willing and able to work onsite full-time in Prescott, AZ. This position is not eligible for relocation.
