Pursuit Nation Church is a Spirit-led, dynamic ministry, founded in 2019 in Tampa, FL, with a mission to empower believers to grow in faith, purpose, and community. Nation proudly aligns with the doctrine, mission, and values of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), our campuses will operate with the flexibility needed to fulfill our unique vision. Lead Pastors at each campus will report directly to the Senior Pastor, ensuring unity, accountability, and a seamless connection to the overarching leadership. Giving planters the flexibility to build thriving ministries that meet the unique needs of their communities. Additionally, planters will have the freedom to name their campuses.
This is an exciting opportunity for visionary leaders to preach, teach, and lead the launching of a new church from the ground up with the support, resources, and systems of Pursuit Nation Church. As a Campus Planter, you will build a launch team, establish a strong local church community, and impact lives for Christ. Pursuit Nation Church will provide the training, guidance, and financial resources necessary for a successful church plant, ensuring that you have the tools and support to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary preacher and teacher for the campus, delivering 100% of the sermons and leading the congregation spiritually.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a strong launch team that is passionate about reaching your community for Christ.
- Plan, organize, and execute outreach efforts to grow your congregation and engage the local community.
- Raise financial resources to support your launch, with coaching, tools, and support provided by Pursuit Nation Church.
- Leverage Pursuit Nation’s centralized systems and resources (e.g., curriculum, technology, graphic design, online giving, and 501(c)(3) coverage) to streamline operations and focus on ministry growth.
- Envision and create unique local ministry initiatives while aligning with Pursuit Nation’s overall vision.

What We’re Looking For:
- A gifted preacher and teacher who can clearly and effectively communicate God’s Word.
- A visionary leader with a proven ability to recruit, develop, and inspire a team.
- A self-starter who is passionate about making disciples and building God’s Kingdom.
- A motivated fundraiser who can connect with personal networks, churches, and partners to secure financial resources for the launch (if not a willingness to learn how to fundraise).
- Ministry experience is highly valued, with some college-level education or Bible training preferred (degree completion is not required).
Requirements:
- Availability to begin planning and fundraising soon, with relocation to your chosen planting city as the next step.
- Previous ministry leadership experience (formal education is secondary to demonstrated ministry success).
