The Electronic Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the electronic service department, ensuring the effective and efficient service and maintenance of fire alarm, security, and related electronic systems. This role will provide leadership and direction to service technicians, coordinate scheduling, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain compliance with all safety and industry standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise, support, and provide technical guidance to electronic service technicians
Plan, prioritize, and schedule service work orders and emergency service calls
Monitor job progress and ensure timely, accurate completion of all service calls
Responsible for driving departmental financials
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures
Conduct field visits as needed to inspect work, assist technicians, and resolve complex technical issues
Maintain communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
Collaborate with the Service Manager and other departments to improve workflow and service delivery
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating service technicians
Manage inventory, tools, and materials needed for service operations
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
Provide technical support and recommendations for system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire alarm, security, or electronic systems industry required
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
NICET Fire Alarm Systems Certification (Level II or higher) preferred
Strong knowledge of NFPA, NICET, and local code requirements
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
