Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm System Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and installing fire alarm systems that meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
About the Job:
- Create safe and efficient fire alarm systems utilizing expertise in fire safety codes, engineering principles, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings/plans using AutoCAD that meet applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to assess fire risks and building layouts.
- Communicate effectively with local officials, engineers, architects, and customers.
- Stay updated on advancements in fire alarm technology and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal system performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
- Experience with Notifier, Siemens, Firelite, or Silent Knight fire alarm systems.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
