Position Requirements:
- 5 years of heavy construction equipment and truck maintenance and repair experience
- Must be able to work from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am.
- Strong communication and interaction skills.
- Competent management and excellent organizational skills.
- Extensive experience with highway and road construction equipment
- Excellent organization, communication, and strong leadership skills
- Proficient in OSHA, and DOT requirements for equipment operations, repair, and maintenance.
- Flexible, inventive problem solver with positive attitude and ability to understand and meet needs and expectations of the company.
- Proof of right to work in the US.
- Must be a hard worker and a team player.
- Carry Out many tasks that require physical labor.
- Always follow the dress code and compliance with proper PPE.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of automotive/HD parts.
- Must have and keep a clean driving record.

- Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
- Body Position: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extensive periods of time.
- Body Movement: Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and have full use of hands, fingers and arms. Ability to occasionally lift moderate to heavy loads.
- Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus rapidly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage activities of the maintenance shop to ensure vehicles and equipment are repaired and all work is performed in a timely manner and according to established quality standards.
- Purchase equipment, materials and supplies for the mechanic shop and oversee maintenance and protection of shop equipment.
- Collect field equipment inspection reports and prioritize repair/maintenance requests.
- Provide and maintain a safe work environment by explaining, monitoring, and enforcing required safety procedures and complying with OSHA requirements.
- Supervise the completion of work order forms to ensure accurate vehicle records.
- Maintain and develop maintenance department staff and their professional and technical knowledge by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Counsel and discipline employees as necessary. Plan, monitor and evaluate job performance.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee conduct.
- Monitor and manage equipment repair and maintenance costs, and parts and supply inventories.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must communicate with company owners and management, on a continual basis, on any issues or needs pertaining to our equipment or employees.
