What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at Pyramid Inc.?
Pyramid Pensacola, a day training program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Program Coordinator to be an integral part of the management team.
The Program Coordinator carries a caseload and assists in creating community partnerships/support, ensuring the enrichment of the lives of Pyramid students. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, motivated and caring team player and willing to work special events after hours, contribute to fundraising ideas and be dedicated to changing the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in conducting training and behavior management programs for people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Two years of supervisory experience of at least 2 direct reports
- Valid Florida Driver's license; Safe driving record
- Successful Level II background screening
- Successful drug test.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, health, comfort, development & self-esteem of Pyramid students
- Ensuring that each student has choices on-site and in the community and the opportunity to pursue activities that are meaningful to them
- Maintaining required paperwork, interfacing with families and supports, developing programming
- Leading a team of dedicated staff members.
Starting pay is $50,000 annually. Benefits include group health insurance, paid time off.
