What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Q Pacific Manufacturing Corporation?
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Performing basic visual and dimensional inspection functions on metal fabricated parts and assemble. Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
2) Communicating challenges and recommendations to changes in part quality to relevant stakeholders. Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
3) Occasionally performance re-work, repair for disqualified part, confirming re-work. summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Work as lead for rework and assembling jobs and assure for quality delivery and on-time delivery.
4) Following ISO 9001-2015. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; Recording and present information through Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ensuring documentation is correct for quality and production.
5) Make period maintenance and Keeps measurement equipment and tools operating by following operating instruction.
6) Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
7) Update Quality inspection and management knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, communicate with colleagues.
8) Work as back-up for Quality Assurance Lead, coordinate with quality manager to keep customers be well contacted and communicated with all information requested or needed.
9) Help warehouse team to prepare daily shipping documents and receiving delivery when necessary. other Jobs may be assigned by Quality Manager and Plant Manager.The
Ideal Quality Inspector will have:
1) A minimum of 18 months experience within the manufacturing industry doing Quality Assurance at levels 1,2 or 3.
2) Working knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices not limited to calipers, micrometers, gages.
3) Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
4) Experience working with metal fabrication and precision machining would be considered an asset.
5) Ability to read, understand, and verbally communicate work instructions and blueprints.
6) Process development and problem-solving experience.
7) Ability to effectively work well in a team environment.
8) Experience working with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
