What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits / Human Resource Administrator position at QA Technology Company Inc.?
SUMMARY: Responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks of a Benefit Administration and Human Resource nature. Trained in various Benefits, Human Resources, Administrative and Clerical functions of moderate complexity requiring the exercise of some discretion and judgement. This position is also backup for some tasks of the Accounting department when required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. However, other duties may be assigned as required by the North American Sales Manager.
- Provides Administrative support activities for Benefits, employment, employee relations, and training areas.
- Perform New Employee Onboarding
- Perform Benefits Administration for Health, Dental, group life, 401K plan, FSA and HSA programs.
- Reviews, audits and reconciles group life, medical, dental, and worker’s compensation invoices.
- Prepares Worker Compensation Claims.
- Perform Weekly Payroll.
- Provide Employee communication in relation benefit plans, trainings, employee events, and any other communication as needed.
- Communicate with the outside benefit companies regarding employee question concerning the benefit plans.
- Coordinate the posting of open positions both internal and external.
- Assist in Month end Closing of GL to prepare Financial Statements.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required and or added as needed.
- Attendance, dependability, and reliability are crucial aspects of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 2 - 3 years of Benefit Administration experience
- MicroSoft office skills
- Paylocity Software is a plus
- Elliott / Epicor ERP experience is a plus
- Confidential and discretionary practices are essential
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Working knowledge of business English
