Our client is immediately seeking a CPA to join them as Finance Manager in their Odessa, FL location.
The strategic-minded Finance Manager will report to the company President and manage a team of five. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing all functions related to company financial performance and will have a dotted line of reporting to the parent-company CFO. Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for:
Analyzing business initiatives as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team
Identifying and reviewing cost reduction opportunities for multiple business areas
Facilitating the preparation of operating and capital budgets and budget forecasts
Overseeing the month end close process and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports
Reviewing operational and financial information packages and performing monthly and annual operating results analysis
Leading, coaching and motivating finance team professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, operations and engineering
Driving the implementation of and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and policies.
Skills/ Competencies:
The ideal Finance Manager will possess these skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
CPA or Equivalent
7-10 years accounting experience, with ideally some in a manufacturing environment
Ability to explain financial concepts to finance and non-finance professionals
Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
Additional Details:
Salary: To $150k bonus
