What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automated Gluing Operator position at Quad?
Key Responsibilities
\The ideal Folder/Gluer Operator will have previous experience working with folding and gluing machines, inserters, tape heads, and other powered equipment. They will be responsible for preparing the machine for operation, operating the equipment following company policies and procedures, and performing routine adjustments as needed.
\Additionally, they will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for communicating problems and malfunctions to co-workers and lead/management, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
\What You'll Need
\To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in the printing/packaging fields, a strong understanding of how to operate folding and gluing machines, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work 8-hour shifts, with overtime and holidays as required, and be able to lift 10-15 pounds continuously.
