Medical Receptionist - Plastic Surgery

Pay From : $18 per hour
MUST :
Experienced Medical Receptionist - Plastic Surgery
2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist - Plastic Surgery
2 years of experience working in a medical office w / plastic surgery and / or med spa
Strong customer service experience
Strong experience answering phones and scheduling surgical procedures
Strong EMR experience
Experience verifying insurance
Experience pre-authorizing surgical procedures
Insurance follow up
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task
DUTIES :
Answer phones and direct calls
Maintain database of patient procedures and notebook of operative reports
Pre-certify patient procedures with insurance company
Schedule patient procedures
Schedule follow up tests
Verify insurance coverage with third-party payor
Schedule physician appointments for new patients and follow up patients
Other duties as assigned
