Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to assist with overseeing fleet operations, managing equipment logistics, and supporting the efficient utilization of assets. This role is responsible for coordinating fleet movements, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and assisting with vendor communications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with field operations, terminals, external vendors and peers to enhance fleet performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment transportation by communicating with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective asset movement with managing fleet assignments, ensuring proper allocation and tracking of equipment.
- Adding equipment information into internal systems with attention to detail.
- Manage, organize and index equipment documents and compliance records.
- Generate and distribute reports to track fleet performance, costs, and trends.
- Communicate with internal teams, external teams and vendors to resolve equipment-related issues timely and professionally.
- Process and manage third-party invoices, ensuring accurate billing to customers and internal departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support fleet operations and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation industry operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in fleet management systems, resource management systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
