Janitorial Operations Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented operations manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Buff floors and maintain floor care to ensure surfaces are polished and presentable.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities, including restroom sanitation and waste disposal.
• Carry out residential painting projects as needed
• Serve as a porter by managing supplies and equipment necessary for cleaning o
• Report any maintenance issues or safety

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and industrial cleaning methods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is an asset.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
