Responsibilities
- Assists with work order corrections and variance analysis
- Researches and analyzes management questions and resolves issues
- Prepares reports on monthly activity for distribution to management
- Involved in the management of various inventory locations within the organization
- Prepares monthly journal entries
- Performs monthly account reconciliations
- Assist on various audit and compliance engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting
- 3 years of related experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Highly motivated, self starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple departments and levels of the organization
- Ability to learn new software programs easily and quickly
- Facilitates team efforts on multiple accounting projects.
- Strong PC skills with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access. A working knowledge of the JD Edwards accounting menus and programs is preferred.
