Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking on new challenges? Quality Counts LLC is seeking a Transportation Project Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting traffic data and performing physical labor tasks across the greater Minneapolis area and beyond.
About the Job
As a Transportation Project Technician, you will:
- Collect traffic data in various locations, including but not limited to the greater Minneapolis area.
- Install video detection cameras roadside and create detailed field survey notes at project locations.
- Upload recorded video to our data team for processing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- No prior experience required – just a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability to travel 4-8 hours outside of Minneapolis city center, with occasional overnight stays between one and two nights (paid for by Quality Counts LLC).
- Able to thrive in an outdoor working environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and safely operate power tools.
