SUMMARY:
Assist with general repairs, installations, and machinery and building projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Facilities Engineer & Maintenance with repairs, installations, and special projects.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, light plumbing repairs, and assist with building modification projects as needed.
- Clean and organize work areas and keep tools in good working condition.
- Regular attendance and compliance with the Company's handbook policies and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities required.

COMPETENCIES:
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Occasionally lift 50 to 75 pounds.
- Bending, stretching, twisting, kneeling, and lying on the ground.
- May stand for long periods of time.
- Walking and climbing stairs and ladders.
- Drive and use fork trucks and reach trucks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will work primarily in the warehouse and manufacturing plant inside the Company's "secure area," with exposure to dust, chemicals, machinery, and loud noises. On rare occasions, this position may work outside the building and be exposed to varying weather conditions.
Individuals working in the "secure area" must follow the Company's Secure Area Dress Code and Security policies and procedures. All clothing must be free from metal, and no metal may be worn into the secure area of the building. Any metal inside or outside the body due to a medical condition must be visually inspected, or reasonable accommodations may be made.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional Saturday hours may be required as needed.
TRAVEL: Minimal local travel may be required to pick up supplies as needed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge or experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or carpentry is a plus.
