Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance disciplines and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents or clients during maintenance tasks.
- Lead small teams when necessary, providing guidance and support in completing maintenance projects.
- Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
- Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems within the facility.
- Execute welding tasks for repairs or fabrication of equipment components.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role or similar position is preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities when working with teams on projects.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
