Deputy Manager – Holiday Inn Express (Alliance)
Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager (Dy. Manager) supports the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Actively manage and supervise front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes, handle guest inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
- Team Leadership: Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising hotel staff across departments.
- Guest Services: Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and maintaining service excellence.
- Financial Oversight: Support budget planning, monitor operational costs, and implement cost-effective strategies.
- Operational Coordination: Oversee daily functions of housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Compliance and Standards: Maintain compliance with IHG brand standards, safety regulations, and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Hotel experience preferable
- Prior experience in front desk operations and team supervision
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (e.g., PMS)
- Ability to multitask and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
